Networking Dinner #003 – Personal and Professional Yearly Review, Planning and Goal-Setting.

On the 16th of October, Women in Marketing – Bulgaria will host our second in-person event in Plovdiv – a networking dinner with two guest speakers on the topic of Personal and Professional Yearly Review, Planning and Goal-Setting. 

Join us for an intimate networking dinner where we reset both the person and the playbook. In the first talk, Vania Kandova leads a practical personal year-in-review: what to keep, what to change, and how to set goals you’ll actually hit. In the second, Петя Терзиева deconstructs the performance of a modern marketing department—what to measure, how to spot waste, and where to invest for real impact. Come for the warm table talk; leave with a crisp personal action plan and a sharper marketing scorecard.

Вечерята ще се състои на 16th of October (Thu) from 19:00 to 23:00 at the esteemed restaurant Saborna 23. Our guest group will enjoy a private hall, where we will be able to connect, exchange ideas, and hear the inspirational lectures of the two speakers.

About the speakers and lectures

Vania Kandova is an experienced business coach and mentor, and the owner–manager of Dynamic Talent Management, an outsourcing HR firm that helps SMEs build strong people practices—from hiring and onboarding to performance, learning, and team effectiveness. She brings 20+ years of professional experience and a people-first philosophy to every engagement, blending classic HR with coaching methods to unlock individual and team potential. Vania’s background spans HR management, teaching philosophy, and even conducting a church choir—perspectives she uses to develop resilient, human-centered leaders. She also designs and delivers practical workshops (including time-management programs) and one-to-one coaching that translate into measurable workplace results.

She will teach our community how to review, plan, and goal-set for our personal and professional career success.

Петя Терзиева is a senior marketing leader with more than two decades of experience building brands, shaping corporate communications, and driving commercial growth across media and consumer sectors. She has led high-impact campaigns and teams at bTV Media Group (Marketing Director), NOVA Broadcasting Group (Head of Marketing & Communications), and later served as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at ZEPTER International Bulgaria. Her earlier career spans agency (Young & Rubicam) and broadcast sales (Balkan News Corporation), giving her a 360° view from strategy to execution.

From the point of view of a Head of Marketing, Petya will teach our community how to professionally review, plan, and goal-set the performance of our marketing department campaigns and initiatives.

Event Schedule

We’ll be expecting our guests at 19-19:30. We’ll take drinks, appetizers, and starters until 20:00. Then the two lectures will start, each having a few minutes for a Q&A. After the discussions from our lecturers, we’ll continue dining with the main course and dessert, before wrapping up the event at 22:30.
