Description
On the 27th of August, Women in Marketing – Bulgaria will host our sixth community networking dinner — an intimate in-person evening in Varna on the theme of agency life.
Over a relaxed dinner we’ll open an honest conversation about what agency life is really like: the challenges of building and working in agencies, how we communicate through pressure and change, and how trust is earned and kept — between teams, clients, and partners. Come for the warm table talk; leave with fresh perspective and a stronger network.
The dinner will take place on the 27th of August (Thu) from 19:00 to 22:30 in Varna. Our intimate group of 20 will enjoy a private setting to connect, exchange ideas, and share the realities of our work.
✅ Speakers & venue confirmed: two Varna-based marketing leaders join us at The Social Teahouse. Seats are strictly limited to 20 — secure yours early.

“From Vendor to Trusted Advisor: How Agencies Earn a Seat at the Strategy Table”
Clients say they want strategic partners, yet agencies are too often treated as vendors. Drawing on 20+ years leading in-house teams and managing agencies across markets, Dimi shares the trust-building behaviours that turn a supplier into an advisor — and how to speak the language of business outcomes.

“Winning Clients Over: The Soft Skills That Save Deals”
Campaigns are rarely why a client leaves — how you handle the hard conversations usually is. Mariyana built her agency, AD VISION, from the ground up and shares three real stories: naming your value, holding the line calmly, and turning your own mistake into the moment a client trusts you most.
The venue: The Social Teahouse
We’re hosting this dinner at The Social Teahouse in Varna — and the choice is deliberate. It’s a social enterprise built on a simple, powerful idea: “We don’t hire people to make tea. We make tea to hire people.” The teahouse is a first workplace for young people who grew up in Bulgaria’s state-care system — and especially young women — helping them build skills, confidence, and a path to an independent, dignified life through employment and mentorship.
That mission sits close to our own, so any funds remaining from this dinner will be donated to The Social Teahouse to support their work. Nearer the date, ticket-holders will receive a short form to choose from the menu options.
